The School of Mathematical Sciences has welcome the new cohort of PhD students with a well-attended Induction event on 26/09/2025. The student will be supervised by academics of the four Research Centres and will be part of the local vibrant community of postgraduate researchs students. During their PhD they will not only do exciting research but will have the opportunity to take part in ad-hoc training on different topics, as interdisciplinary thinking, writing a good research statement, creating a good cv, applying for jobs, using their doctorate in industry, etc. More info here
