Title: Gauge Theories and Integrability

Abstract: Integrable systems are exactly solvable quantum field theories with infinitely many symmetries. In the past few years years, a novel perspective has emerged in which these systems are constructed from higher-dimensional gauge theories such as 4d Chern-Simons. This talk will provide a pedagogical introduction to this topic before reviewing some recent developments (e.g. 4d hBF).
