This talk explores the emerging field of topological signals, dynamical variables defined on higher-order networks such as simplicial or cell complexes. These are functions defined on simplicial complexes that generalize the idea of node-based dynamics to higher-order interactions, allowing signals to propagate across links, faces, and higher-dimensional simplices. They serve as a discrete analogue to differential forms in topology, offering tools for modeling complex systems such as brain networks, biological transportation, and power grids. In this talk we will investigate the interplay between topology and dynamics, deriving the topological and dynamical conditions under which two very interesting phenomenon arises: Global Synchronization and Pattern Formation.
