Interests

I work on the CERN LHC ATLAS experiment Inner Tracker Upgrade (ITk). My expertise is in measurement and modelling of the cooling structures needed to guarantee that components of the detector operate within their specified temperature ranges, in particular that the detector will remain operable up to the highest integrated luminosity envisaged at the s-LHC. As a semi-retired staff member I spend much of my time transferring my knowledge to younger members of the QMUL ATLAS group who are involved in building this next-generation detector.
