Interests
I use synthetic biology and evolutionary biology to address fundamental and applied biotechnological challenges in microorganisms, including
Streptomyces and
Pseudomonas putida. One of my research focuses is understanding the evolution of division of labour in natural microbial systems and exploring how these principles can be harnessed for pollutant degradation and the production of valuable compounds.
