Interests
Dr. Aishwarya Prakash is a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at Queen Mary University of London, investigating cardiomyocyte mechanosensing in disease progression. Her research bridges cellular biomechanics and metabolic adaptation, with a particular focus on intercalated disc interactions and mitochondrial dynamics. She has developed expertise in neonatal rat and adult mouse cardiomyocyte isolation, platform fabrication for mechanobiology assays, and a range of functional assays. Aishwarya is passionate about translational research that connects molecular mechanisms to clinical relevance.
