Interests

My expertise is in biomaterials and in vitro modelling, with a focus on hydrogel/polymer chemistry and tissue characterisation.

My previous research focused on developing hydrogel models to replicate the mechanical environment of tissues and study the mechanisms of ageing.

In my current role, I am developing functionalised conductive polymer interfaces for implanted neural device applications. Aiming to bridge the gap between physiology and engineering to create more integrated and scalable bioelectronic systems.
