Research
Computer-aided diagnosis, Medical image computing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Reinforcement Learning, Cancer Early Detection
Interests
Shaheer develops new AI methods to address core challenges in cancer imaging. His research focuses on creating smarter, more adaptable algorithms for identifying tumours, assessing image quality and guiding treatment. He is particularly interested in approaches that learn effectively from limited or imperfect data, and advancing algorithmic techniques that strengthen the reliability of automated image-based diagnosis. His research aims to shape future AI-assisted diagnosis and intervention.
