Interests
I lead scientific initiatives at Dragonfly AI, advancing innovation in visual analytics with a strong focus on human-centred design. My work supports the development of intelligent tools that empower creative, marketing, and insight teams to optimise content performance across a range of digital channels. At present, my research is focused on predictive analytics and machine learning, with particular interest in designing human-in-the-loop decision support systems for intelligent healthcare and creative applications. My background includes extensive research into user-centred interface design for multimodal systems, as well as social signal processing—specifically, the sensing and modelling of human affective states in human–machine interaction. I draw on interdisciplinary approaches from HCI, affective computing, and design to create mobile and web-based applications that emphasise intuitive, visually engaging user experiences across the creative arts, healthcare, and science communication.
