Dr Huo’s research innovates on machine learning methods (e.g. reinforcement learning-based methods) and model-based methods to optimise power systems (e.g. smart grid, congestion management, flexibility evaluation and provision) and whole systems (e.g. network constraints management) to enhance network security, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
