Interests

Dr Rahul Dutta received his PhD from the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London in 2025. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at Queen Mary University of London, working on reconfigurable antennas and metasurfaces for wireless communication systems in projects supported by EPSRC and industry partners. His expertise covers absorber and polarization-converter design across a broad range of applications, along with theoretical modelling of non-equilibrium and active metamaterials. He is proficient in full-wave electromagnetic simulation tools such as CST Microwave Studio and HFSS, as well as MATLAB for mathematical and numerical work. He also serves as a reviewer for several international journals, including those published by IEEE, IET, and MDPI.
