Date: 15 September 2025   Time: 11:30 - 17:00

Location: Queen Mary University of London, Mile End campus, Arts Two building, Room 3.20

The twenty-second meeting of the Applied Algebra and Geometry Research Network will be held on Monday 15 September hosted by the School of Mathematical Sciences, Queen Mary University of London.

Talks will be held in the Arts Two Building, Room 3.20 as follows:

  • 12:30 Anthea Monod (Imperial), Topological Graph Kernels from Tropical Geometry
  • 13:30 Primoz Skraba (QMUL), Geometry and (Co)Homology Computation

  • 16:00 Sergey Sergeev (Birmingham), Algebraic Cryptography based on Tropical Matrix Algebra

See the meeting webpage for more details including talk abstracts, how to register, and remote participation arrangements.

The Applied Algebra and Geometry Research Network brings together UK academics who are interested in applications of algebra and geometry, and related algebraically-minded fields. It is funded by the London Mathematical Society, the Edinburgh Mathematical Society, the Glasgow Mathematical Journal Trust, and the Isaac Newton Institute. It has run 22 meetings beginning in 2016 and his will be its first visit to Queen Mary. Several members of the Centre for Combinatorics, Alegbra and Number Theory are involved with this network.
