Join us to celebrate ten years of the Centre for Advanced Robotics at Queen Mary (ARQ) with a day of research presentations, discovery and conversation, followed by the inaugural lecture of Professor Kaspar Althoefer, Professor of Robotics Engineering and ARQ Director.

The conference will showcase the breadth of research across ARQ, spanning soft and bio-inspired robotics, artificial intelligence, robot perception, human–robot interaction, medical and assistive technologies, and aerial and space robotics. Presentations by the centre's academics and a laboratory tour will offer opportunities to explore current research and meet the people behind it. A poster session featuring work by PhD students and postdoctoral researchers is also planned.

The programme will also recognise emerging research talent through the Best UK PhD Thesis Awards for 2024/2025, with short presentations by the two award recipients.
